"Enigma's Wings" - Briefly Analized/Explained

Ok. So, basically it's the whole "the eyes are the windows of the soul" thing all over again, but also saying that such things have an affect on the "real"/physical world, too. It's describing someone looking into a very mysterious-natured person's eyes and seeing right to the bottom of [what seemd like] the sky---------but it was really their soul... It's comparing the feeling that the on-looker got from peering into the enigma's soul to the feeling of awe and inspiration you get from gazing at the stars. ...And by drawing from that comparison, I figured enigmas must all, at least somehow, be able to "fly". But I took it a step further than just having a little, inspirational peek------ I made it suck them in.....So now it's like, not just the night sky, but closer to a black hole, giving-way to a sence of danger, or a sence of certain-doom once you cross a sertain point; the event horizon. (note how cool it is how human eyes really DO look kinna like they've got event horizons! 0.0) the sky with gravity reversed! (hense, "the 'bottom' of the sky")

I can go-on for hours analizing this thing for you, but I'll spare ya. Odd isn't it, how the things you actually spend the least time writing actually contain more, and better, truer, symbology than most of all the long stuff combined!? ...It's very annoying, actually. :-\

"Enigma's Wings" ---slightly revised

Short Description: A very good reason why, you must never look an enigma in the eye... (unless of course you're like me, and like, totally would.) B)
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
"Did it ever occure to you that mankind knew how to fly beofore the Write Bros came along? We enigmas have known forever how to do it; why do you think we're always wearing these capes?! To hide our invisable wings, Silly! Wrapped in these tight bundles is a universe unknown... We have to keep it locked-up tight, or the unthinkable might happen................................................................Would you like to see?"

The figure raised its head so, for the first time, you can see their eyes... A chill ran up your spine as the uncanny stranger stared back at you... With eyes shining like the moon and a soul behind them as deep the sea, you can hardly fathom what you think their thoughts might be. Can a person so strange----able to freez your blood with a look; able to swallow you whole like a chasm in the earth when only you tried to read their basic features, still possibly be human?! 26 chromosomes, so you guess so...

Their face was set in a deep dark hood. Their skin was pail as sunshine itself: you figured, from the lack of it. What was it, you wondered, that tied this creature so closely to the night sky?

...And why you where being such a sap falling for it!

"Look, I don't know who you are, or where you come from, but I'm outta here."

You got up. But, before you could leave, an image of the figure placed itself in front of you; your mind wouldn't let you go. It projected the image inside your very conciousness. You closed your eyes and shook your head, but the hologram only brightened. Your own soul seemed to tug at your shirtsleeve, trying to stay. You turned a last glance at the figure, who was now picking idly at something in their nails, and darn-near died of shock to see the floor and table suddenly littered with etherial feathers... It was as if some gient, pure-white phantom turkey had been instantly plucked behind your momentarilly-exposed back.

The figure revealed their eyes once more and winked at you, smiling an eerie smile who's meaning or emotion you could not ascertain. So, at that final, ailien sight, you simply ran for your sanity.

There are more twists and turns to the human mind than reality can handel. And sometimes, when you get enough, reality can't even handel its self right. The ground may open up and swollow you, and you will walk the earth within its depths, like a window or a porthole for others to glimps through in horror what has become of you... And you: knowing least of all where your destiny lies---- 'cept that it lies there, in the deep dark depths of strangeness and obscurity.

...So what's your story?

A/N:

Here's a little quote from another such "enigma": "Who am I, to be what has never 'been' before? Who am I, to live what has never-before even been imagined?! How can I be counted among the existing, when I am consumed by that which is not even real?!"

...to which the repply was: "What begins with dreams will end in dreams, and one who lives in dreams will die there, too." ~_~b

...and then at last, the enigma asked: "...When am I consumed by that which is not even real?"
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

....YES I am obsessed with enigma-people, and all things spooky and strange, mysteriouse and "intriguing"... Anamalies and paradoxes of the scientific and ficticious uniVs, bewhere, for I will hunt you down! >=D
. . .
(yeah, yeah, yeah; I know----"watch out for, 'Enigmament'" ...*rolls eyes, harrassd*) e_e

PS: Now I've also thrown-in some of my required English vocab words... I mean, like---- you can't even tell they're there! B-)
(Ten points to the person who can guess one right!)

FYI: The alleged "points" r just a randomness thing; they have no value what-so-ever other than bragging rights. 0_o

Enigma's Wings

"Did it ever occure to you that mankind knew how to fly beofore the Write Bros came along? We enigmas have known forever how to do it; why do you think we're always wearing these capes?! Can a person so strange----able to grab your heart with a look, to trap you like the hole you fell through when you looked into their eyes, still possibly be human?! 26 chromosomes, so you guess so...

Their face was set in a deep dark hood. Their skin was pail as sunchine itself, you figured, from the lack of it. What was it, you wondered, that tied this creature so closely to the night sky? ...And why you where being such a poop falling for it!

AN: A simple idea, that enigmas have wings, and yet, I think it came out really quite good! =D
For once I didn't get cought up in descriptions 'n the like. Not very much to it, but it makes you think! (yes I am ecstatic right now) ^_______^

Well, you know what I think, but what do you think?

New technique uncovered! Just come up w/ a simple, interesting-sounding phrase and write about it! But whatever you do, DON'T TRY TO PLAN ANYTHING!!!!!!! >o

This blog is a catch-all for every little weird thing that I write that is otherwise not worth peoples' whiles.~_~b

It 'vas once uppon a l8 September,
maybe far as I remember,
that my alphabet soup lie splattered on the floor.
I looked upon it weary,
for all was lost when cheery...
My poor alphabet soup lie splattered on the floor!

I looked upon the little letters,
and for worse or if for better,
those funny little letters
spelled-out for me to go to bedder!

So I bought my self a bedder,
as each tiny letter had instructed.
I put it in my garden that was wetter,
but then it self-destructed! :x
